Game Designer
We are looking for talent and skill in developing social mobile games.
The Game Designer is responsible for or assists in the implementation of design tasks, and ensures design goals are met. They work with the other designers to create systems, gameplay mechanics, level assets and data tables needed to implement the game design.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement 2D and 3D levels, including planning maps.
- Implement AI behavior scripting and tuning of gameplay.
- Help with building and integration of design assets.
- Design and advocate for usability in all aspects of User Interface.
- Work closely with other project team members to execute design goals, and work through design revisions as needed.
- Implement revisions and gameplay tuning based on QA and Focus testing.
Requirements::
- 2+ years of game industry experience, with at least two shipped titles in casual, social or multiplayer mobile games.
- Passionate about many different types of games with an understanding of casual and mobile aspects of games and how to monetize and incentivize free-to-play social games.
- Self-motivated and focused worker with good communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational, planning, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Demonstrable knowledge of game design principles and problem solving abilities.
- Strong sense of what makes for successful game design.
- Ability to accept direction and to work collaboratively with a team.
- Ability to use productivity tools including MS Office, art packages, and tools associated with game development.
- Must be able to verify legal eligibility to work in the USA.
